Activation
The control panel provided with our system incorporates a pair of normally closed volt free contacts, to activate the curtain, on receipt of an alarm condition.
These can interface with the following systems:
- 24v fire alarm system, via an alarm interface
- 240v interlink system, requires a relay base
- Thermal links
- Air sampling systems
- Sprinkler systems via flow switch
Blaze can also supply detectors to provide a stand alone system, if required, Independently monitored for local activation.
Building Control, in conjunction with your Architect, will specify their requirements for your project and must be fit for purpose.
Split drop systems can also be provided, to give a delayed drop to the curtain with 2 stage decent, to enable means of escape, along with emergency retract switches.
Flashing beacons and audible warning devices can also be installed, to comply with DDA Regulations.
