Here is one of the three FC2 E240 W90 curtains that we supplied and installed at a property in Pembridge Villas, London. In total, each of the curtains installed offer 240 minutes of fire resistance, adhering with the building’s overall fire safety strategy.
To ensure that there is no liklihood of any persons getting trapped behind a fire curtain, a Multi-Function Group Control Panel was used providing two stage descent; a programmable timer delay that deploys the curtain two stages to allow egress before full deployment.
In addition to two stage descent, accompanying emergency retract switches were installed either side of the curtain to ensure that in the unlikely event a person is trapped behind a curtain, a button can be pushed to retract the curtain.
Once installed and commissioned, the group of curtains were signed off and approved by the NHBC on-site.
